Ladder Head 04:52
Another wall I wrecked Down on my head it fell I will go up the stairs Coz one more there still stand I'll go through nights and days And give the eyes no rest Under many different names Once hammer, once the nail I built the puzzle frame Connected B to A You made it simply fair To tell how wrong I am But I'll give the eyes no rest Time off to self-defense Here come the swollen faces Here come the things to learn Another wall I wrecked Down on my head it fell I will go up the stairs Coz one more there still stand

I know the green light shines above But only red is marking up my way The song, the voice I can't stop hearing now ''Spin your wheels and sink into the air'' [ it says ] Would it be worth doing if I knew the end? Would it be worth to try if I knew you're not there? I know the green light shines above But somehow I prefer not to go straight The song, the voice I can't stop hearing now ''Latch onto the night, let fear go away'' [ it says ] Would it be worth to feel it for myself? Would it be worth to feel the outcome weight? Would it be worth to try if I knew you're not there? [I am on a curiosity voyage and I need my paddles to travel]

about

I think this EP might be an emotional extension of 'Feather Bed', possibly more straightforward, possibly louder.
Again, I tried to explore the sonic aesthetics of past decades, so when the last EP was more about vinyl, this one is more about tape.

Listening to the sounds from a compact cassette reminds me of my very first musical experiences, days when I was recording my old NES console tunes straight to the cassete machine.
I was probably at the age of 5 or 6, so it was nice to try to recreate that feeling again.
